Office Manager

Responsibilities listed below are not all inclusive, however, they are indicative of the types of activities normally performed by this position:

Administrative:

  1. Assist the area/regional Property Manager with special reports and administrative duties.
  2. Handles the collection of rents and all other collections (i.e. security deposits, pet deposits, late rents)
  3. Assists attorney and Property Manager with any rental collection/legal proceedings.
  4. Maintain all office and tenant files.
  5. Process tenant move-in and move-out reports and documentation.
  6. Prepare and process new lease and yearly lease renewals.
  7. Prepare and maintain monthly reports while utilizing the Boston Post property manager software.

Training:

  1. Attend Seminars on section 8 compliance if available.
  2. Communicates problems and make recommendations to the Senior Office Manager or Property Manager.

Marketing:

  1. Assists in development and placement of advertising and implementation of special promotions.
  2. May assist Property Manager in the preparation of market surveys, traffic reports, and inspections.

Relationships:

  1. Reports to the Senior Office Manager and/or Property Manager
  2. Maintains relationships with other departments within CRM, particularly the main office accounting department.

Qualifications:

  1. Good communication skills.
  2. Confident, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task.
  3. Ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  4. Ability to assume responsibilities.
  5. Diplomacy in handling problems of residents.
  6. Section 8 / Tax Credit experience preferred.
